Case History
On April 22, 2025, the Investigative Committee of Moscow opened a case against Sergey Tolokonnikov's wife, Mariya Pankova. Two days later, she and 74-year-old Nadezhda Lebed were searched. For their faith in Jehovah God, they were charged with extremist activities. The women were taken for interrogation and signed a recognizance agreement. About four years ago, they had already faced persecution in the case of Roman Mareyev.
