The Case of Suslov in Shadrinsk

Case History

In 2021, Igor Suslov’s house was searched. The believer was brought in as a witness in the case of Aleksandr Lubin. Four years later, the Investigative Committee initiated a criminal case against Suslov himself on participation in the activities of an extremist organization for “writing encouraging letters on religious topics.” The believer was placed under recognizance agreement.

    Having learned about the initiation of a criminal case, Igor Suslov comes from the Altai Territory, where he lives with his family, to Kurgan, having traveled more than 1700 km, and appears for interrogation at the local department of the investigative committee. Investigator Grachev charges Suslov and takes a recognizance agreement from him.
